We have just received an email from the leader of Gwynedd Council, Councillor Dyfrig Siencyn, with the following request:
“Despite the advice from our Governments, the numbers of visitors to Gwynedd over the last few days has been extremely worrying and disappointing. I therefore urge you to close your park / campsite / accommodation immediately so that we can stop the spread of the virus, and limit the impact of visitors on our health and care services locally which are already under considerable pressure… In line with our Governments’ guidelines, I urge you to close immediately…”
We will be complying with his request. If you have a booking with us for the next few weeks, please get in touch. If your booking is further into the future, we recommend you do nothing at the moment. The situation is changing by the day and could have changed again by the time you are due to come. We are monitoring the situation closely but if you have any questions / concerns, please do get in touch.
Once the area is again open to visitors, we are fortunate here that every room has a front door which opens onto the courtyard, so guests are able to maintain minimum contact with other guests if they so wish.
Be wise, be well. Best wishes from all at Old Mill Farmhouse.
