In a matter of days, we anticipate being able to say, “Welcome back to Wales”. As you know, Wales is a few weeks behind England in opening up after lockdown, but there are signs that things may be moving. If conditions continue to improve, Ministers have indicated that they hope to be able to lift the ‘stay local’ and ‘travel no more than five miles’ restrictions on 6th July and re-open ‘self-contained’ accommodation and outdoor attractions on 13th July. We hope to hear confirmation of this on the 10th July. In the meantime, as all our rooms are self-contained, all are en-suite and it is easy to avoid contact with other guests when you go to your cars, we are making preparations to be ready to open on July 13th and for a little while our B&B could take on a novel meaning: ‘Breakfast in a Bowl’ – served through a window for you to take and enjoy in your room, until we can open fully again and serve breakfast in the farmhouse.
We are doing all we possibly can to keep you safe as you step back into the real world. There is ample space for self-distancing in our beautiful garden and you will be CHUFFED to know the trains will be running on the garden railway again! Don’t forget to tell us if you’ll be celebrating a birthday and we’ll run the birthday train for you.
We’ll keep you posted as things progress – but we hope to see you on July 13th.
